BOYS GYMNASTICS

These classes are taught with male instruction and include the men's artistic gymnastics events such as Rings and Parallel Bars.

The Boys Recreational Gymnastics program is designed to develop the basic gymnastics skills and the foundation on which these skills rest: strength, flexibility, balance and motor coordination. We strive to maintain a safe, positive, fun and creative atmosphere where each boy is encouraged to improve at his own pace. Two of our most important goals are to develop self-confidence and to help the boys to understand the relationship between consistent practice and improvement of ability.

BOYS WHITE CUBS

Age Group: 4 - 5 year olds
Practice: 60 Minutes

This 1 hr. class for children in kindergarten incorporates their love of learning with their longer attention spans by introducing advanced recreational gymnastics skills. Because young boys usually lack the strength required for some of the gymnastics apparatus, the floor exercise and vault are emphasized most at the beginning levels. We include a variety of challenges (i.e. eye/hand and eye/foot coordination, balance, etc.) that will enhance any sport a child may play, not just gymnastics.

BOYS SILVER CUBS

Age Group: 5 - 6 year olds
Practice: 60 Minutes

We look for naturally talented youngsters and help prepare their bodies and minds for the future by training them in the drills and skills needed for the beginning stages of competition.

BOYS CATS

Age Group: 6 - 7+ year olds
Practice: 60 Minutes

This program is designed to introduce each boy to the more advanced acquisition and preparation of intermediate and advanced recreational gymnastics skills, through organized skill-based circuits on each gymnastics event. Each child will experience all pieces of equipment in a FUN and stimulating environment.
